Reflections with Andy – Antioch – Acts 11: 19-30

Today, we see the church in Antioch begin to grow and prosper. Great things are happening. So many good things that the Apostles send Barnabas to check it out. And Barnabas does what Barnabas does. He encourages them. And then he is so encouraged by what is happening that he goes and gets Saul, and for a year, they teach and preach. And these, for the first time, the disciples are called Christians. Christ followers, or little Christ. That’s our name, y’all. That’s our purpose. That’s what we do. We follow Christ, we teach Christ, we offer Christ. That’s our purpose, our calling, our mission. Let’s follow in that line today. Let’s be true Christ followers.

Join us for our daily reflections with Andy. In 10 short minutes, he’ll dig a little deeper into Scripture and help you better understand God’s Word.
