Today I’d like to just share with you a few verses from Psalm 107: 

1 O give thanks to the Lord, for he is good;

    for his steadfast love endures forever.

2 Let the redeemed of the Lord say so,

    those he redeemed from trouble

3 and gathered in from the lands,

    from the east and from the west,

    from the north and from the south

Today is Thanksgiving. We have much to be thankful for.  If nothing else, we are here and we are breathing.  As I like to joke, I’d rather be looking down at the flowers than look up at the flowers.  

We’ve been given this day.  We’ve been given a new day of life. We’ve been given a fresh start. We’ve been given so much.  

Maybe this day is not perfect, maybe we’ve got problems stresses and worries. But you know what y’all? We’ve got Jesus.  

Today, we have much to be thankful for. Take a moment to think about that, and to name it out loud.  

Tell someone what you are you thankful for.  Praise God for it.  And know that all good things in life are from Him. Let’s be thankful today!
