Waiting on the Rain

Today I want you to think about patience.  Think about Noah.  God called him.  God gave him a vision.  God had great things for him to do.

So he did.  He was faithful to the vision that God had given him.  He built the ark.  He worked.  He prayed.  He did what God called him to do.

And then he waited.   And waited.  And waited.

No rain.  No nothing.  He waited.  We think of Job with patience.  I think we also need to think of Noah with patience.  He waited.

He trusted.  He believed. And God finally did what He said He would do.  Noah waited on the rain.  The rain finally came.

Today, maybe you are waiting on the rain.  Don’t give up.  The rain will come. Trust in God.  Trust in His calling.  Trust in His plan.  Wait on the rain.  It will come.
