Today’s reading is Romans 12: 1-8
Romans 12 is to me much like Romans 8. We could spend years in this chapter. It’s so good. There is so much good stuff here. I would encourage you to go back again and just reread today’s passage. Focus on whatever it is that jumps out to you. To me, I’m always struck by what we read in verse one – we are a living sacrifice. That is a powerful word and concept to me. This means to me that all of our lives is an act of worship. Not just the time that we spend in church on Sundays, but every act, every of our life is worship.
Standing in life in Walmart is worship.
Being stuck in traffic is worship.
Meetings are worship.
Practice is worship.
Homework is worship.
We are a living sacrifice. Our very existence is an act of worship. Today, worship in all things. Look for God’s presence in all things, in all people. God is present. God is there. God is reaching out to us in all things. All things. All of life. It’s all worship.
