Small Faithfulness

Today’s reading is Acts 25: 1-12

rootedchristToday we see the beginning of the culmination of where God was leading Paul – Rome.  Rome was the center of the empire, it was the throne of power, it was the capital of the greatest empire the world had ever seen to that point and perhaps has ever seen. This would be the center as well as of what was becoming the church.  Paul would take the Gospel to Rome and from there the Gospel would spread like wildfire across Europe, Africa, the Americas, and all the world.

Think of what started with just Jesus and Twelve faithful disciples in the Holy Land was now going to take the world by storm. Something this small was going to change everything.  Never doubt what small faithfulness can do.  God did so much with those few. What can He do with me, you, and the church today?  More than we can ever imagine or dream. Today, be faithful.  Follow.  Go. Serve. And see what God does with it.
