Today’s reading is Acts 22: 17-30
God didn’t just give Paul his story, he gave him the blessing of Roman citizenship. This allowed him to get out of some time binds at times, but also gave him the opportunity to speak to the leaders of the Roman government. It was his citizenship that eventually allowed him to be able to even speak in Rome itself. This would not have happened if Paul had not been a citizen. God was preparing him to speak to the Jewish people by having him trained in that Old Testament and the law. Now Paul was prepared to speak to the Gentiles because he was a Roman citizen.
God was preparing Paul for great things all through his life. Just like He is preparing you for something great today. I don’t know what that is. But you have something in your life that only can do. Something today that only you can make happen. God has prepared you for something amazing. Take that next step. Use your gifts and talents for God’s kingdom. See what He has done. And see what you can do through Him.
