The Unjust Judge

Today’s reading is Luke 18: 1-8

rootedchristToday we see one the cooler stories in the Bible, in my opinion. We see this story of the unjust judge, who feared neither God nor humans, but because the widow would not leave him alone, eventually granted her request.  Jesus tells His followers, let your prayers be the same.

In other words, keep praying.  You feel like you are praying too much about something – keep praying.

You feel like giving up – keep praying.

Feel discouraged – keep praying.

Don’t know what to do – keep praying.

This parable tells us that we can’t pray too much.  We can’t annoy God.  We can’t get on His nerves.  He loves us.  He loves our prayers.  He loves when we come to Him.  This parable reminds us, over and over again.  Keep praying.
